In our first unit “School: CIS Community”, students learned about who are the people working in CIS, the places that can be found in our school community and the different objects that they needs to learn. They applied the vocabulary learned about the school subjects to write their own schedule in Spanish, and also compare it with the ones other children have in schools around the Spanish speaking countries. Students were also able to recognize the differences and similarities between our school facilities and school calendar with those in other countries.
“Cómo nos organizamos” (How we organize ourselves)
Inquiry into the interconnectedness of human-made systems and communities; the structure and function of organizations; societal decision-making; economic activities and their impact on humankind and the environment.
“School is an organization for students to develop their learning in different aspects”
Here we are disusing about the different roles people in CIS have.
This are the school labels we created, aren’t they cool?
